COMP and network developing ..

Today while i was training my N2-N4 networks (juggling) smile it come to my mind if we learn stuff in the right order (applying COMP) we should in the process of learning something new .. use all our networks . (independently of the task/subject we learn)

I mean, let's suposse we want to learn information/facts or N5 stuff, if we want to apply comp we should in the process use N3 (imagination/observation) n4 practise and variation etc ...

I know that probably it will not enough to build up the others networks but probably if we learn new stuff apllying COMP we should at least keep entreteining the others networks ..

And if that is true is great, because i we keep learning new stuff every day with COMP is like if we have a balanced brain we can "forget" at little to train x networks because every stuff we learn will use all our brain at the stage of learning ..

makes sense ..?

And it seems like because of school we almost always learn all kind of task in a N5-style (from the top) ..

In my case still find a lot easier to try to understand and execute COMP to task and stuff related to the rear networks than for example N5 stuff ..

Cheers

Yes we should. That doesn't guarantee improvement overall though -the input has to be congruent for that (it has to make sense biologically as well as logically). We could use all our networks to design, create and maintain a forest full of plastic pigs for example but because that doesn't make any sense to us, in fact it seems a pretty stupid thing to do, incongruity is gonna undo all the good work by pumping us full of cortisol. Note that this happens even if we are getting paid lots of money for the plastic pig project! The mind seems to take financial reward as a sign that we are being coerced. I think that's absolutely hilarious  :  )

But if the input's good, then yeh; learning good input in the right order is a shortcut to improving all networks.

Re: COMP on rear/front nets: In a lot of ways there is crossover...I mean even of what you want to learn is purely abstract, there is still the 'gathering together' of your research material stage, and the 'going out seeking more info' stage and so on...even though you may be doing your 'seeking' online, it's the same process and if we get it right we end up with both knowledge as ability and knowledge as information.

Hello, well the plastic pic project is certainly hilarious.  And this reminds me of the performance/art world I inhabit.  There seems to be a very fine line between doing stressful(ridiculous) things for money and doing stressful (ridiculous) things for art!

But I want to take a moment to thank you Alex for the new updated Tutorial 7.  It is beautiful.  I cant believe you aint asking for money!  Thank god not.

best,

d.

Re: COMP and network developing ..

Alex, i think that probably "most" of the people in the first stages of COMP (attention, concentration stages) do it "ok", but most of them get lost in the modeling (take the point of view of the teacher, behave as though, imagine how x stuff can be apply in the world, etc) and practice (dont only understand intelectually do it too, literally, in others words, not only know the path, walk it) and variation .. using your creativity to innovate and play with the new information/task, is were the people must fail to apply.

If i must learn (or should i said memorice?) history data.

Like this dude born at 1977

To me that number doesn't mean anything, but for example i can use my imagination to see the face of the dude and try to create a connection in the face and that date? or that kind of stuff is "forcing" association (wrong use?)

For example "look the nose of this guy look like a 7!!!" (i know ridiculous lol) and make more easy to memorice it.

How do you do when you try to learn data like that (that doesn't seems to apply in the world) and at the same time learn in in the right way (with COMP)

Sorry my english today is not very good, tell me if you don't understand something.

BTW learning a new language wich networks train? (i mean probably can vary if you learn to read it, or talk, or just translate reading etc? for example i'm only "decent" at translanting, regular at writing, and bad at talking.

I second that smile neurohacking rules!

BTW, about tutorial 7, (the first "intermediate level" tutorial) are in the next ones when the "new" more accurate FA will be presented? (i remember a forum post when you said that it will be a new FA in intermediate level tutorials)

Cheers

"BTW learning a new language wich networks train?"

Good question. See what Alex had to say about language acquisition:

It's because I DO neurohacking as well as talk about it... since I know that the mind takes financial reward as a sign that we are being coerced, why would I want to deliberately walk into incongruity, raise my own anxiety levels and miss out on the real rewards for creative endeavor (eg, a better brain, more intelligence and really good allies)? As Princess Leia said, “That's worth more to you than money!”  :  )

If what you are studying is interesting and relevant to you, you will remember things automatically because you will think about them. For example, I'd be thinking, “This amazing dude was born in 1977...how old was I then? Wow just imagine...I was in such and such a place doing such and such a thing when this dude was born...I wonder if the conditions of the late seventies produced any other great dudes in that same place...?”
You relate the information to your own experience, you won't forget it.
If you're NOT interested in the dude, there's no point remembering when they were born.

On language, cheers MM800 for the shortcut!  :  )

Basically the sound of words, and their metaphoric meanings are processed in N4, the grammar and logical meanings are processed in N5. Both use N3 for translation and transfer. But as you'll find from previous notes all networks are involved. If N1/N2/N3 have problems, N4 might have difficulty understanding metaphor (a problem in aspergers syndrome). If a stroke affects the left language areas, the patient is able to sing and swear but not speak logically (although with use, networks can rewire).

Re: New FA: is likely to happen between T9 and T10. We need a bit of background first to relate the functions to the model, so that we can do abstract hacking with the model as well as concrete hacking with material stuff. In other words, you can hack just the mind, just the brain, the brain without the mind, or both together (recommended).
