COVID-19 Here an pertinent article about the antimicrobial benefits of copper that could arm us with some invaluable tools as we fight this new corona critter. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/xgqk … ket-newtab

Re: COVID-19 No; this is hype. Increasing copper intake can be dangerous, especially for those with a tendency to mental instability.

Re: COVID-19 The "coin in cheek" question I posed was really meant to be in jest. The main consideration was whether we should be moving back to using copper and certain copper alloys on surfaces to mitigate the proliferation of microbial contaminant.

Re: COVID-19
There are correlations with all those diseases and metabolic syndrome.* Metabolic syndrome is also strongly correlated with COVID19 outcomes. So that might be the most sensible prophylactic one could aim for. Another strong correlation, is low vitamin D status. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 … 121353.htm https://link.springer.com/article/10.10 … 20-01570-8 Also, smokers are vastly under represented in those who are infected.** https://www.qeios.com/read/article/561 The US CDC data shows similar numbers. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/ … _w#T1_down 13.8% of the population are smokers, yet make up only 1.3% of COVID cases. I do not know why the official response is so exaggerated. It does appear to be out of proportion to the actual risk level. Thinking too creatively on it leads me to conspiratorial thoughts though. With the information available to me, the best I think I can do for myself is keep on neurohacking, get outside as much as I can, and adding in some nicotine. *I can't confirm traffic accidents are correlated with metabolic syndrome, yet they certainly could be considered a disease of society. **Some researchers think It might be the nicotine preventing infection by ACE2 inhibition, other think it involves the acetylcholine receptor path. |

Re: COVID-19
It does create an opportunity to objectively determine how much one is reliant on societal infrastructure. There will be many humans on our planet that have not been affected*, and may not even know about it. *everyone is affected to some degree, and for the majority of the planet this could be seen as a positive from an environmental perspective. https://scitechdaily.com/stunning-satel … -lockdown/ |
