I've had a few mails asking about this, people are wondering if now is the time to do a new FA before they launch into intermediate stuff. There have also been requests to do the FA first and then complete the rest of the intermediate tutorials.

Whilst I'm normally happy to heed the feedback and head in the direction students want most because that is expedient, in this case I don't see a way to shortcut...
Simply, you can do a basics FA anytime you like at any point during the tutorials, but if you want to do the Intermediates FA you're gonna have to wait until after T9.

The simple reason for this is that some of the terminology in the intermediates FA won't be understood unless you have the information in T7-T9.
I realize some of you are already at this level, which is why we're doing this stuff first instead of writing books  :  )   There's been a suggestion of making the FA available to those who already know the material, but I see a problem where students not having read this post will come across the FA and proceed without really knowing what they are doing and get false results.


It may be that the only solution is patience. Or Modafinil  :  )
