NHA is NOT a site for those with serious mental problems.

Obviously it's expected that all people at some time in their lives will have temporary mental 'glitches', times of depression, unexpected memory loss, and the inevitable bummers we all face in life, like grief and loss. Any or all of us may also encounter temporary mental issues which may need treatment, from migraines to neurotransmitter imbalance, and it's helpful to be able to chat here, compare notes on treatments, and help each other out with stuff like this.

However, it is not possible to 'hack' serious mental problems with techniques such as are discussed here. Folks already under long term psychiatric care, or those who believe they are actually a horse, or the victim of a worldwide government conspiracy, or the greatest undiscovered genius since time began, or that aliens are sending them secret messages in pop songs, shouldn't be using this site.
