N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Long time no hear... I'm doing superbly compared to the past now.

I got a F3, O4, N1 result for my N6. This made it the X/Y network.

I need some feedback about the questions to see if this is correct.

1. At least not a frequent occurrence
2. I can only sometimes.
3. Don't know if I would buy.
4. I do get distracted.
5. They don't.
6. I often have to take pauses or look up the net a little in the middle.
7. No ;)
8. No.
9. Depends on the change (so didn't answer yes)
10. I have trouble imagining the situation. Usually if I feel bad, I already know why. I don't have to 'figure it out'. Maybe I should have answered yes here...
11. Don't think so. And how would I know without asking someone 'average' to record everything they thought and did on one day.
12. Yes
13. Too vague of a question to answer. No examples come to mind but I suppose I can do this a little bit but does that qualify?
14. What exactly does this mean? Yes I have learned to (for example) shop so I have to walk as little as possible but how much things like that I should do to answer yes?
15. Can I answer yes even if it takes me a long time to learn something?
16. Vague?? Yes I have a feeling like that.
17. Define spontaneous.
18. My few friends don't that often tell me their problems. And even less often something that might have an easy solution. So can't say yes.
19. What kind of things does this include?
20. I feel like I'm in control of my life when really there are many areas that I'm not in control of yet.
21. yes
22. What does this mean?
23. What does this mean in real life?
24. What does this mean?
25. I do get bored sometimes.
26. no
27. But if there are times that I refuse to take a risk even if I calculate it to be ok, should i answer no?
28. In a way I do but some things are not easy.
29. No. I want to look at the least possible amount of information.
30. Not really I think. Not my strong side.
31. Yes?
32. What does this mean?
33. Maybe I should answer yes.
34. I've never worked in such an environment so can't know.
35. I guess.
36. Yes
37. I can prioritize ok but I do procrastinate..
38. I have broad range of interests but not many hobbies cause I don't have enough time. Yes?
39. How would I know?

Interesting. I already got 6 yes which would change things quite a bit.

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

To clarify, I needed feedback if I should answer yes/no (though I necessarily need it anymore right now as the networks to work on changed).

On one hand, I'd like to know if I'm the only one having trouble answering the questions? Maybe getting this low a score is very rare.

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Hi

I have a low N6 score too (but not as low as N1+N2), but you know the golden rules, always do the things in the  right order, so, even if you have a low N6 score, as far as i know, that will be the last network to train.

Hi dude,

sorry I can't help you on the specifics (my procedural memory is filled to the brim by all kinds of other things...), but don't worry too much about the difficulty of answering yes or no, you're not the only one smile

Though, it's a bit intended that way and the thumb rule is: if it's not like "Yeah! That's me!", then it should be no.

Now, Alex will most certainly give you some precisions, as soon as he comes out of coma... smile

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Sakiro: Possibly the most interesting change in this assessment is that I got a fairly high score for N1+N2. Still need to exercise it though.

But yeah, N6 is no longer a marked network for me either after I assessed it a second time. Now N3 is X and N4 is Y/Z. I wish I could create my own hacks and exercises but I'm not sure if I can look at the existing ones and just extrapolate from there (and that would also require some creativity found in N4 so it's also a little catch-22 I guess).

Scal: It can be hard to be sure if one doesn't understand what's in question.. and who needs assessments anyway, we'll be gone by 2013 anyway right.. (this is a joke)

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Hey dudes,

Absolutely! Let's just get stoned, after all, why bother...!? smile

by the way, about 2012 or rather about the eventual ultimate crash of the banking system, I was wondering... What would you think would happen to someone - let's call them "Jo" - who would make a loan today in order to buy a house, and then by the end of 2012, the banking system collapses, including the bank concerned by the loan Jo made. What would happen then? Would Jo still have to continue paying back the loan or would the house be automatically and definitely Jo's property?

Cheers!

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Hi folks,
Apologies for absence, I hope its made my heart grow fonder  :  )

Empathia: I'm confused a bit here (I often get confused so that's ok) because I don't understand how you are linking these particular 39 questions/replies to network 6? There are around 200 questions in the FA, and there are questions in ALL sections of the FA relevant to the performance of N6, so which sections are these ones picked out from and why do you consider them particularly relevant?

Sorry I can't be much more use until I know the context here...basically I don't know which 39 questions these are the answers to...  :  )

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

The same ;) I think I at one point was never going to come back but then I had some encounters with the spirit world and ended up taking up some visualization techniques which quickly changed my life around. Of course, like today, I can still feel like I haven't gotten anywhere yet but I guess that's understandable; it's one thing to get your car running and moving in the right direction but then there's damage in the car you weren't aware of when it was not moving, etc... it's ironic that a lot of times when I've now been happy about how things are going then right that day or the next some crap hits the fan. BUT, this is not the matrix 4 version, cause I'm not expecting it ;)

--------

They are the Function-questions of N6 I think. Sorry for being unclear. Why I thought them relevant was that my F-score for N6 was so small and so was O and N scores (N6 was just 7% of the whole brain score). But as I said I got more than double F-score when I did it the second time so it's not my concern now.

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Sorry dude; I'm still not getting where these questions are and why it's assumed that only these are related to N6?

On 'scores': I've seen people get zero for a network before and still manage to get it booted up and running. Nothing is unusual  :  )

...To save time, could you just direct me to the questions?

Well either I have gotten the whole FA totally wrong or something's amiss here.. There are F, O, and N questions for N6 as for all other networks ? These are the F -questions. I was only talking about the F score, hence I only listed the F questions.

Yeah. It being odd wasn't that big of a deal to me, I was more concerned with do I have to train it or not.

...To save time, could you just direct me to the questions?
There you go (there are 40 questions, so my list of 39 answers is pointless as it can't be used as it is). Although as Scal said, if you're not absolutely certain if the answer is yes, then it's a no. Maybe the questions were vague to me because I have a weak N6? So the vagueness would not skew anything and they would be just fine the way they are.

I notice little details that others often miss

I never buy insurance unless its illegal not to
    I am not easily distracted
People often turn to me when there are decisions to be made
I have good discipline and can work steadily until a task is done
I am competent in situations that seem to make most people anxious, upset or stressed out

I don’t mind changes to my regular schedule
If I feel unpleasant, I can usually work out exactly what is bothering me
I seem to get more done in a day than the average person

I am able to apply what I’ve learned to different situations
I develop templates, shortcuts or expedient standard procedures for routine tasks
I always learn from my mistakes
My life is full of options
I tend to plan things before doing them, but I am able to be spontaneous
When I hear about other people’s problems, solutions usually come to me
I almost always finish what I set out to do
I feel that I am pretty much in control of my life
I believe that to a large extent, life is what you make it
I use examples from the past to learn new skills in the present
    I am a good negotiator
I can be discriminative when I need to
    I never get bored
If you show me a picture of anyone I know, I can always put a name to the face
I am prepared to take calculated risks
    I learn from my experiences

Re: N6 Assessment (+possibly exercising it?)

Hi dude,

N6 is the last network we usually need to complete and get up and running, so it's not usually a concern in early days unless it's causing trouble through wronguse. By the time we get to working on N6, much of the hard stuff is already accomplished (because we have built up the networks that support it).  So no worries  :  )

If you have doubts about your Functional Analysis calculations, do the automated computer version. That way you'll get an accurate readout and all you have to do is be clear about your replies.

You have to look at exactly what is being said. So for example if I were doing it and came upon the statement “I am always very tidy” I would click 'no, because although I am tidy sometimes, the statement says 'always' and that's definitely not me!
If the statement said “I always like my surroundings to be tidy” I would click 'yes', because I definitely do like things that way.

You are supposed to click 'yes' to the statements only if you immediately recognise a definite  description of yourself, so you have to pay attention to exactly what the statements are saying or describing. If the questions seem vague it can be a sign that your knowledge of yourself is vague, or it can be due to one or more of the following factors:
Early FAs can be really hard for those who have difficulties paying close attention, or have difficulty making decisions, or are not accustomed to thinking about their own behavior, or don't clearly understand the meanings of some words (can be an issue for those with limited english, dyslexia or limited vocabulary). Other factors are anxiety and/or unconscious confabulation.

The questions/statements that you list are from Part 1 Section E of the FA. ...It would have been a lot easier for you to type just that...?  :  )

Only when we get to 'intermediate' level FAs do we have to start looking at individual questions/statements and taking such details into account. Our first FA is probably the least accurate, simply because we improve our attention and memory as well as our knowledge quite a lot before we get to doing further ones! So it's not necessary to examine your FA in such detail at this stage. In intermediate level we take apart the FA process and start using it to assess our ongoing progress.

However, if you're particularly inspired to follow this up now, you'll need the following background knowledge: (a) the links between animal behaviors, neurotransmitters, networks, and emotions and (b) core eidetic associations.
You also need the following background skills: (a) stable anxiety control under normal (everyday) conditions (b) ability to focus your attention and (c) ability to initiate the relaxation response (by whatever means).
A basic sketchy knowledge of discourse analysis would also help.

If you've got all this already, I'll prioritize intermediate stuff for you. If not, you can have some fun in the library  :  )
Best,
AR
